Lectern Seal.

I've taken to using the lectern (podium thing) in my history classes and decided to make a quick presidential seal for it. Self-righteous for sure.

If I don't see that on your door to your office, I'll be a sad man.

David, I think you should drop your current job and take the lead over at the Insitute of Heraldy ( http://tinyurl.com/heraldy ). They could use some of your presidential seal design ideas. And you are right about calling it a lectern instead of a podium. Podium = what you stand on. Lectern = what you stand behind and what you use to hold your lecture materials.

Kristie recommends that I build a portable lectern that hangs from my neck (complete with light and mic) so that I can wander around while still maintaining the prestige of professional presentation.
